Southside provides classes for:
Nursery: 6 weeks - mobile
Older Infants: mobile - 16 months
Toddlers: 14 months - 2 1/2 years
Tigers: 20 months - 3 1/2 years
Teddy Bears: 3 years - 4 1/2 years
Lions: Pre K
Afterschool: 5 - 12 years

Nursery
We offer the best quality infant care and provide many extra values for your convenience. Come by and get on our waiting list early. Our Nursery classroom nurtures only 8 babies total, with a 4 to 1 ratio. We supply all diapers and wipes. You supply an extra pair of clothes, formula and/or baby food. Before your baby begins enrollment at Southside his/her teacher does a home visit to your home. We accept babies from 6 weeks old to approximately 9 months old in our Nursery.
Older Infants
Children are placed in specific classrooms based on where they are in their development. Babies who are placed in our Older Infant class are mobile, but not walking; are still taking naps sporadically; are on the bottle; and still need the rocking, nurturing, and 1 on 1 attention from the caregiver that a 4 to 1 ratio offers. The average age of our Older Infants is 8 months to 16 months.
Toddlers
Come and see the spacious, stimulating environment in our Toddler class. The Toddlers enjoy computer time, art, music, centers and outside play. Our Toddler class is designed for a child who is walking well; is off the daytime bottle; is taking only one nap a day; enjoys outside play; and is socially comfortable around other children of the same development. The child/teacher ratio is 6 to 1. In this class we use a class schedule instead of an individual schedule. The average age range is 11 months to 30 months. Included during the week is computer lab class. Toddlers who demonstrate a physical and emotional readiness for potty-training will begin training in this class.
Tiger Class
The Tiger class age range is between the ages of 20 months - 3 1/2 years old. The roaring Tigers are enjoying computer time, music, art, learning activities and outside play. Come by and see all the fun! Our Tigers class houses children who are talking in sentences; have an interest in potty training; are able to follow simple directions; singing A,B,C's and 1,2,3's; and can sit at a table and chair to eat. We have a 7 to 1 ratio in our Tigers class. Included in tuition, during the week, are two classes of computer lab.
Teddy Bears
We encourage children's curiosity and imagination to develop an appropriate curriculum which meets your child's individual needs. We include Spanish lessons, too. Come by for a visit to the Teddy Bear den and join in the fun. Our Teddy Bear class is our young preK class. A child must be completely potty trained to be in this class. We have a 9 to 1 ratio; with an age range of 3 years old to 4 years old. The child must be able to understand and follow basic directions. Teddy Bears learn a letter sound and recognition each week; and are matching numbers to quantities. Included in tuition,during the week are two classes of Spanish and three classes of computer.
After School Program
Our afterschool program offers:
